"No matter where his career takes him, on this night, Lance McCullers wins on swag alone."

Matt Harvey may be baseball's official Dark Knight, but lo, from the plains of Texas, a new hero has emerged. Lance McCullers is his name, dispensing justice with an electric fastball-curve

Tampa Bay Warriors and Team Citius Unite!

What does this mean for you?

The Tampa Bay Warriors and Team Citius both have experienced coaching staffs, all of which have played professional baseball. That experience is invaluable in the development of young talent. Each coach whether a position player or pitcher attained specific skill sets as well as the mental edge needed to succeed at such a high level. Those lessons can not be read a book, or learned from watching a game, they lived it.

Beyond their playing experience, each coach has garnered invaluable relationships with college coaches, agents and scouts. By combining the organizations there will be twice as much exposure for the players. The more scouts that see them, the more players will be recruited, the more scholarships will be awarded.

Have fun, Play Hard and always Conduct yourself in a Professional Manner.

Truth: COLLEGE COACHES ARE NOT COMING TO YOUR HIGH SCHOOL GAMES

Are you placing your hopes on a college coach seeing you at a high school game and pulling out a scholarship offer? Unless you are a football player, think again.

Most college coaches don’t spend much time watching high school games unless they are going to see a specific player they already know about. This is increasingly true across sports that have a competitive environment outside of the high schools.

This year the league will be organized through IBC Baseball. Please check the schedule on the IBCbaseball website.

Mike Matheny Letter To Parents

Message from Kevin Seitzer - Mike Matheny is the new St. Louis Cardinals Manager.  Mike lived with me in Milwaukee his rookie year.  He's one of the most respected, wonderful people you will ever be around.  Mike coached his kids after retirement and this is a letter to the parents on his team.  This may be the BEST letter I've ever read regarding youth baseball and is exactly what "The Mac-N-Seitz Way" is all about.  Please enjoy and help us get there!

16u or 18u? No worries for Warriors

Published: Saturday, September 01, 2012
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Warriors originally thought they would be motoring down the freeway this holiday weekend to defend a 16u championship they won exactly one year ago. Instead, it is an 18u championship they are in pursuit of here in southwest Florida, just south down I-75 from their Tampa, Fla., home.
The Warriors and co-coaches Brian Dubose and Nick Drangle thought they were putting together a team to defend their championship from last year's inaugural PG WWBA 16u Labor Day Classic.
