The Tampa Bay Warriors and Team Citius both have experienced coaching staffs, all of which have played professional baseball. That experience is invaluable in the development of young talent. Each coach whether a position player or pitcher attained specific skill sets as well as the mental edge needed to succeed at such a high level. Those lessons can not be read a book, or learned from watching a game, they lived it.
Beyond their playing experience, each coach has garnered invaluable relationships with college coaches, agents and scouts. Are you placing your hopes on a college coach seeing you at a high school game and pulling out a scholarship offer? Unless you are a football player, think again.
Most college coaches don’t spend much time watching high school games unless they are going to see a specific player they already know about. This is increasingly true across sports that have a competitive environment outside of the high schools.

The 2015 West Coast Spring HS Wood Bat League begins February 7th. Please register by January 23rd.
If you are in high school and want to get a leg up on the competition, this is where you want to play. Players from all over the Tampa Bay area compete in a minimum of one game per weekend. We will also have one or two practices during the week. Although we would like everyone to participate at all practices and games, we understand the league is during the school year. Thus, we do take into consideration family, academic commitments and high school team conflicts.
This year the league will be organized through IBC Baseball. Please check the schedule on the IBCbaseball website.

Mike Matheny Letter To Parents
Message from Kevin Seitzer - Mike Matheny is the new St. Louis Cardinals Manager. Mike lived with me in Milwaukee his rookie year. He's one of the most respected, wonderful people you will ever be around. Mike coached his kids after retirement and this is a letter to the parents on his team.
